A Day in the Life

Ready to kickstart your finance career with a global leader in beauty? As a Finance Intern at L’Oréal, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, contributing to key projects and gaining valuable insights into the financial operations of a world-class organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights on business performance.
Management Accounting: Support the development and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize your advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets, creating insightful reports and presentations.
Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Ad hoc Projects: Provide support to the finance team on various projects and initiatives as required.

Who You Are:

You are a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for finance and a strong desire to learn and grow.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, formulas, and data visualizations.
You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively within a team and communicate financial information clearly.
You are a self-starter who is eager to take initiative and make a tangible contribution to the team.

Qualifications:

BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Strong academic record demonstrating excellence in accounting and finance coursework.
A genuine interest in the beauty industry and L’Oréal’s brands is a plus.
